Argan Oil
It is rich in vitamin E which nourishes, softens, and helps with tissue repair. It is full of antioxidants to neutralise free radicals and prevent the signs of ageing. Essential fatty acids help strengthen the skins outer layer and prevent water loss. Argan oil helps to balance oil production and reduce blemishes.
Avocado Oil
It is full of antioxidants, essential fatty acids and vitamins A, D and E. This means it fights wrinkle-causing free radicals while nourishing the skin and promoting elasticity. It helps to strengthen the skin’s lipid barrier, maintain hydration and good skin health. It is calming and soothing, making it perfect for sensitive skin.
Baking Soda
It has anti-bacterial properties and is a gentle exfoliant. It unclogs pores and absorbs excess oil while brightening skin and helping to fade scarring. Gentle enough for sensitive skin.
Benzyl Alcohol
It occurs naturally in many plants (and is not an alcohol in the sense of the fermented liquor). It helps preserve formulations while making them lighter and helping other ingredients penetrate deeper into the skin.
Castor Bean Oil
It has water-binding properties and enhances the absorption of other ingredients. It is rich in antioxidants and omega-9 (essential fatty acid) and nourishes, strengthens, plumps and protects the skin.
Cetearyl Alcohol
It is a fatty alcohol (but is not an alcohol in the fermented liquor sense) and is an emollient. This means that it moisturises while improving consistency.
Cetearyl Olivate
This olive-derived emollient helps blend oil and water together. It creates a smooth, luxurious feel in a product. It is composed of fatty acids which soften the skin.
Citric Acid
A naturally occurring AHA (alpha-hydroxy acid), citric acid gently exfoliates and brightens the skin. It reduces the appearance of age spots, fine lines, acne scarring and uneven skin tone leaving you with a youthful and glowing complexion.
Dehydroacetic Acid
Used as a preservative to kill and prevent the growth of microorganisms and protect products from spoiling. It is often described as the mildest preservative.
Dl-alpha Tocopherol Acetate
A water-soluble, stable form of vitamin E that is moisturising and full of antioxidants to improve the look of ageing in the skin, particularly from UV damage. It's very soothing.
Frankincense Oil
This precious oil strengthens the skin, improves tone and elasticity and reduces inflammation. It helps to lessen the appearance of scars and stretch marks and helps heal wounds and defend against blemishes.
French Pink Clay
It is the mildest form of Kaolin Clay and is composed of Kaolinite, Iron, Illite, Montmorillonite and Calcite. It also absorbs excess oil without stripping the skin. It gently exfoliates, detoxifies and purifies the skin. It is perfect for sensitive skin.
Grapeseed Oil
It has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties to calm skin. It relieves minor forms of sun damage and evens out skin tone. It is rich in omega-6 fatty acids, Linoleic Acid and vitamins E and C and deeply hydrates, plumps, softens, smooths and strengthens the skin while improving elasticity.
Helichrysum Oil
It is anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial, antifungal and has antibacterial properties. It reduces the appearance of age spots and is rejuvenating and restorative. It reduces the appearance of blemishes and wrinkles and promotes regeneration of new skin cells. It soothes and calms the skin.
Isopropyl Myristate
It helps with the absorption of other ingredients while moisturising and strengthening the skin which reduces moisture loss. It also improves the texture of products, making them smooth and easy to apply.
Jasmine Oil
It is packed with antioxidants to fight against environmental stressors. It has an uplifting and energising scent which is known to lower anxiety. It calms inflammation, moisturises, nourishes and soothes skin without clogging pores. It also evens out skin tone and works to diminish the look of age spots. Because it gently balances oil in the skin it is perfect for all skin types.
Jojoba Oil
It moisturises, nourishes and strengthens the skin’s protective barrier, helping to prevent water loss and keeping the skin plump. It also acts as a carrier to deliver other nutrient-rich ingredients deep into the skin.
Kaolin Clay
It absorbs excess oil without stripping the skin. It also cleanses, detoxifies and gently exfoliates to reveal fresh, glowing skin. It's also perfect for sensitive skin as it is not drying.
Manuka Oil
It has antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties. Manuka oil reduces acne, hydrates, balances and heals damaged skin. It is up to 30 times stronger than tea tree essential oil in killing certain strains of bacteria which helps to keep skin clear. It promotes the regeneration of new skin cells.
Marula Oil
This lightweight and easily absorbed oil is a powerhouse of potent antioxidants, vitamins C and E, anti-inflammatories, essential amino acids, flavonoids and omegas 6 and 9. It is brightening, strengthening, moisturising and reduces the appearance of redness. It has a smaller molecular weight than most other oils, so it can penetrate deeper into the skin. It’s perfect for sensitive skin.
Matcha Powder
It is full of antioxidants, minerals and vitamins to nourish the skin and slow cell degeneration; vitamin K, in particular, reduces puffiness. While it has anti-inflammatory properties to calm redness in the skin, it is also a great detoxifier and acne treatment.
Meadowfoam Seed Oil
It absorbs easily into the skin and helps other ingredients penetrate deeply. It is rich in antioxidants and vitamin E which fight the signs of ageing. It balances the skin's natural oils. It is also very hydrating and creates a barrier to lock in the moisture, so you stay hydrated for a longer period of time.
MSM
This form of organic sulphur has anti-oxidant properties to fight free radical damage, which slows down the signs of ageing in the skin. It promotes collagen production to keep the skin plump, youthful and smooth. It’s a mild antiseptic so it will gently treat acne but is still perfect for sensitive skin.
Neem Leaf
Not only does it purify the skin, it naturally relieves the skin from irritation and reduces the appearance of pigmentation and scarring. It is also rich in essential fatty acids to strengthen and nourish the lipid barrier.
Orange Peel Powder
It is full of anti-oxidants to fight free radical and UV damage in the skin which can slow the formation of lines while brightening the skin. It is particularly good at reducing acne scarring and age spots. It balances oil, unclogs pores and calms inflammation.
Potassium Oleate
It is full of fatty acids which nourish the skin and strengthens the lipid barrier to protect against environmental stressors.
PVA
PVA (Polyvinyl alcohol) is a water-soluble synthetic polymer. It is biodegradable and PVA fabric breaks down over time and use.
Raw Cacao powder
It is full of antioxidants which help fight free radical damage, slowing the formation of lines. It prevents water loss so the skin stays elastic and plump. It softens and nourishes the skin and is particularly good for dry skin types.
Rosehip Seeds
These very finely milled seeds boost collagen production for smoother, plumper skin. The skin is nourished and strengthened because rosehip seeds are packed with vitamins, anti-oxidants and essential fatty acids. With the skins lipid barrier strengthened, the skin is less likely to lose moisture and resists environmental stressors more effectively.
Rosehips Seed Oil
It nourishes, hydrates and rejuvenates skin and smoothes and plumps skin by boosting collagen. It is packed with vitamins, anti-oxidants and essential fatty acids to strengthen the skin.
Safflower Seed Oil
It is rich in fatty acids to hydrate, soften and smooth skin and is particularly good for dry skin. Being an emollient, it binds water and oils to create a smooth texture. The Linoleic Acid in safflower seed oil helps improve the skin's texture, unclog pores and reduce acne while regenerating cell production to reveal younger, fresh skin.
Sorbitan Olivate
Derived from olives, it is rich in essential fatty acids which means it has skin softening properties. It promotes better tone and elasticity in the skin and penetrates quickly and helping other ingredients to reach deeper layers of the skin.
Tamanu Oil
This oil is excellent for sensitive and oily skin. Being rich in fatty acids it firms and protects skin from environmental stressors while plumping and smoothing. Anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antibiotic, and antioxidant properties to help heal damaged skin, scarring, age spots and acne.
Totarol
It is both antimicrobial and antibacterial and helps fight acne. It is a natural preservative that is full of antioxidants which slows down the ageing process in the skin.
Vegetable Glycerine
A natural humectant (a substance that prevents the loss of moisture), vegetable glycerine draws moisture from the air and delivers it into the skin. It helps repair the skins outer layer by smoothing dry areas on the surface.
Vitamin C
It fights free radical and sun damage in the skin, slowing down the signs of ageing. It improves hydration, protects from environmental stressors and promotes collagen production to prevent wrinkles and smooth the texture. It also brightens the skin and can reduce pigmentation.
